Dear Ozma, Your music bores me, Love SteveIf boring was spelled O-Z-M-A, then these guys put the Ozma in boring. Ozma just simply lacks energy. If I could take just a little bit of ATP from the drummer of The Dillenger Escape Plan and give it to Ozma, I'd be happy, but I can't. It's not that Ozma's music is a "slow" boring, there's just a severe lack of creativity here.
Originality and Ozma just don't mix. Their drummer plays really basic drum beats, and the guitar riffs are......umm...how can I put this, BORING! They remind me of The Anniversary on downers. These guys first bored me when I saw them in concert with Weezer and Saves the Day in Albany last year. Then they bored me with their 2nd CD "Rock and Roll Part 3". Now, with their new CD out, Ozma has found another way to bore me. That's strike 3 Ozma, your out of here. Kung Fu what's the deal here? Why did you sign these guys? It seems to me that ever since Bigwig and the Ataris left the label, Kung Fu Records has been going down hill. Now, please take us off your mailing list. |
