This is the best compilation I've heard all year! This is not just your average comp. where all the bands on the CD are on the label that puts out the CD. No, no, no.

All the best Chicago indie/punk bands can be heard on here (i.e. Owls, Alkaline Trio, Lawrence Arms, Robert Nanna of Hey Mercedes). The Owls "We Are the Owls" is my favorite song on here. The band never ceases to impress the shit out of me. Tom Daily, The Tossers, Duvall, The Ghost, and Detatchment Kit also made great songs. All the other songs here are pretty good too (except Plain White T's and The Dishes, Boo).  

Besides the music, there are two other great things about this comp.
1) All the songs on here were recorded at an old factory in Chicago and in some spots on the CD you can hear other stuff going on in the factory or things happening outside, like an airplane coming in for a landing.

2) There are tons of photos in the CD booklet of all the bands.  

Good job Thick Records. This one's a keeper.
