WGFR serves the Glens Falls/Queensbury area by providing a diverse program offering in the form of an alternative music format, public affairs programming and specialty music shows. WGFR is operated as an educational medium providing practical experience for ACC students. WGFR serves as an outlet for Adirondack Community College by publicizing College events, programs and services to the area.
